BTM — 02 / Pattern was the second project by the BTM team and explored the possibility to design textures and patterns on the fabric and to transfer them onto the surface of the glass. British designer Rebecca Hoyes was invited to contribute to this project with her great expertise on textile and pattern making. The patterns designed were tested in the furnace and used in combination with wooden moulds and bespoke metal structures.

BTM 02 / Pattern was conceived by AUT together with Chiara Onida (designer) and Marco Zito (architect), developed and realised with Chiara Onida (designer), Anna Perugini (designer), Dario Stellon (glass expert) and Rebecca Hoyes (pattern designer) . All pieces have been made in Murano by Salviati, one of the world's oldest and prestigious art glass manufacturers.
